| Property Dispute Resolution |
This service is provided to those clients who have purchased an off-plan property in Spain and there has been a breach of contract on the builder's part. |
| |
| The breach of contract is normally caused: |
| |
By delays in construction:
Am I entitled to a refund of my money plus any accrued interest?
Am I entitled to compensation for any damages caused? - Even if I accept the delays and still want my
property?
|
| |
By finishing the structure differently to how it was presented when we first purchased the property:
Am I entitled to get my money back if the communal areas do not exist? - Or if they are just different from what they told me?
Is the builder in breach of contract if the communal areas are not finished at the time of completion?
|
| |
By charging more than agreed in the terms of the contract:
Am I entitled to refuse to pay €10,000 more for extras that I never agreed to?
What expenses I am supposed to pay?
|
| |
| Your solicitors in Spain will require the following documents: |
| |
- Copy of the purchase contract.
- Any correspondence with the builder.
- Any publicity - such as photos, leaflets, website.
|
| |
| How we can help: |
| |
- Negotiating with the builder to get to a settlement out of court.
- Mediating between the two parties.
- Taking legal action.
